VIDEO : Netflix Announces Six New Animated Projects

Netflix announced that it will be producing six new animated shows and adding them to its streaming service. Comicbook.com reports that one of the new shows is called 'Kid Cosmic' from The Powerpuff Girls' Craig McCracken. The show focuses on a young boy who gets powerful abilities when he finds cosmic stones. Another show is called "Trash Truck,' which focuses on the story of a 6-year named Hank's friendship with a trash truck. A third is called "Go! Go! Cory Carson," which originates from the Go! Go! Smart Wheels line of toys. Another series is titled 'Maya and the Three,' which its creator describes as "Mexican Lord of the Rings, but hilarious." The company also said it will create 2D animated movie "My Father's Dragon" and an adaptation of Lois Lowry novel "The Willoughbys."
