(CNN)Warning: This post contains spoilers from the most recent episode of 'The Walking Dead' Andrew Lincoln made his exit from 'The Walking Dead' series on Sunday, but AMC is not done telling the story of Rick Grimes. The network on Sunday announced a series of films about the character are in development, with the first expected to begin production early next year. Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, longtime producer of the series, will executive produce and write the films, which will star Lincoln.
