After a subpar second season, HBO?s anthology series, True Detective, looks to return to form with it?s latest incarnation.
The third season stars Oscar winner Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff as they investigate a crime in the Ozarks over several decades.
Uproxx reports, Show creator Nic Pizzolatto wrote every episode but one, which was co-written with David Milch.
The season was directed by Pizzolatto, Daniel Sackheim, and Green Room?s Jeremy Saulnier.
The mystery of the deep woods. The fog over the mountains. The rivers. The water. The sense of scale when you get out to some of this nature.
I feel like people will see it as an extension of character, something that embodies emotional journeys while influencing those journeys.?
