VIDEO : Chris Cornell's Family Files Lawsuit Against Doctor

According to a report by CNN, in a lawsuit filed on Thursday, Chris Cornell's family accused his doctor for the Soundgarden singer's death. According to the lawsuit, Dr. Robert Koblin "negligently and repeatedly' prescribed 'dangerous mind-altering controlled substances' that impaired Cornell and 'caused him to engage in dangerous impulsive behavior the ultimately cost him his life. CNN reports the singer's family claims that Koblin presribed over 940 doses of Lorazepam during the last 20 months of his life. The 52 year-old Cornell's death in May of 2017 was ruled a suicide by hanging.
