VIDEO : Gladiator Sequel Is Coming

According to Uproxx and a report from Deadline, Ridley Scott has ?begun forward progress? on a sequel to Gladiator, his epic, which won Best Picture, Best Actor and three other, technical Oscars back in the year 2000. Although Russel Crowe?s character Maximus Decimus Meridius died in the previous film, Gladiator 2 will follow Lucius and will focus on the next generation of gladiator. The release date and production schedule for the Gladiator sequel have not yet been released.
