Peter Jackson is producing a new film, an adaptation of the book The Mortal Engines.
According to Screen Rant, the director will not be helming projects.
Why?
He told Empire magazine that he was too tired.
The movie is a massive undertaking, combining lots of digital and practical effects.
Whoever directed the film would have to commit 2-3 years of their lives to the project.
---I wasn?t in the right frame of mind. I just thought I could either direct the movie in an exhausted state.
