VIDEO : Jon Stewart Says Trump Successfully Baits The Media By Appealing To Their Narcissism

According to a report by Business Insider, comedian Jon Stewart says that President Donald Trump has been successfully in baiting the press by appealing to their narcissism. In an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour, Stewart commented Trump's repeated attacks on the mainstream media, saying, "I think journalists have taken it personally. They're personally wounded and offended by this man. He baits them, and they dive in." The former "Daily Show' host added, "What [Trump has] done well ... is appeal to their own narcissism, to their own ego." Stewart reportedly went on to explain that this has distracted the media from focusing on his administration's policies.
