According to a report by Business Insider, in January of 2017, Johnny Depp filed a 25 million-dollar lawsuit against his former business managers, accusing them of fraud and mismanagement that has cost him millions of dollars. His business managers, Joel and Robert Mandel of the Management Group, responded with a countersuit claiming that the actor led an 'extravagant and extreme' lifestyle. In May of 2017, The Hollywood Reporter released a list of some of Depp's extravagant expenses, including the purchase of 14 properties, a 156-foot yacht, and spending 3.6 million-dollars annually to pay for his 40 person staff.
