Kim Kardashian West has become an award-winning humanitarian.
The reality TV star was awarded the first Gift of Life Impact Award at the One Huge Night Gala in Beverly Hills.
Access reports that Kardashian West was honored for her support in the "Hope4Adam" campaign.
"Hope4Adam" was started in 2016 when Adam Krief was diagnosed with an aggressive form of blood cancer.
Adam's condition required a bone-marrow transplant and Kim tweeted her millions of followers in an attempt to find a match for Adam.
Following Kim K's tweet, over 10,000 people joined the registry including the entire Kardashian clan.
Unfortunately, even with Kim's call to action, doctors couldn?t pull off Adam's transplant in time.
The tweet did, however, result in 5 life-saving matches for other people fighting the same disease.
The Gift of Light Impact Award is given to those that can leverage their power or popularity with one small act that could possibly save someone's life.
