According to UPROXX, A Life-Spanning Prince Documentary From A Prince-Approved Director Is Coming To Netflix
Ava DuVernay, who is known for movies like Selma, A Wrinkle In Time, and This Is The Life: How The West Was One, a documentary about Los Angeles hip-hop in the ?90s, has been picked to direct the documentary.
Variety is reporting that ?the project has the full cooperation of the late artist?s estate, which is providing with interviews, archival footage, photos and archive access,? which includes unreleased Prince music.
The multi-part documentary series began production earlier this year, and there is not yet an announced release date.
