Channel 24 reports that as of Friday, Megyn Kelly was no longer the host of "Megyn Kelly Today."
In a statement to the AP, NBC confirmed " Megyn Kelly Today is not returning."
In 2017 the former Fox News Channel personality made a rocky switch to a soft morning news at NBC.
Kelly said that she wanted viewers "to have a laugh with us, a smile, sometimes a tear and maybe a little hope to start your day."
But she reportedly rubbed some viewers the wrong way recently when she commented on people wearing blackface during Halloween. According to USA Today, she said that it was "OK when I was a kid as long as you were dressing like a character.?
Channel 24 explains, "Social media condemnation was swift, and Kelly apologized to fellow NBC staffers later in the day and made a tearful apology on her show Wednesday."
Although NBC said that her timeslot will be filled by other co-anchors from the show, they didn't address the status of Kelly's or her multimillion-contract.
She's reportedly in the middle of a three-year contract, which pays her over $20m a year.
