VIDEO : 'First Man' Team Worked Hard To Get The Film Right

The team behind the film 'First Man' had to spend a considerable amount of time getting the film right.
The film is about Neil Armstrong and the U.S. mission to the moon.
The movie is loaded with technical details that would confound a normal filmmaker.
Channel 24 South Africa says director Damien Chazelle and screenwriter Josh Singer were up to the challenge and made it look easy.
They were aided by a talented team, that included production designer Nathan Crowley.
Crowley and his team built full-scale replicas of capsules from Gemini and Apollo missions, the X-15 aircraft and the multi-axis trainer.
Screenwriter Singer spent 3 years writing the script for the movie.
