VIDEO : 'The Goldbergs' Freddy Krueger Episode Has ABC Outage In New York

Horror fans geared up for a one-of-a-kind Halloween treat in a recent episode The Goldbergs, but instead got a nightmare.

According to comicbook.com, in New York, the first ten-or-so minutes of the episode were not actually aired.

Instead, viewers were treated to a black screen and a high-pitched beeping sound.

While it looks like the outage only lasted for a few minutes, it still caused enough of a stir for fans of the ABC sitcom.
