According to Reuters, the accusations against Rush were published in the News Corp owned Sydney?s Daily Telegraph.
Rush has taken the paper to court.
A court in Australia has begun a hearing into his lawsuit against the publisher.
On Monday, he talked about his initial response to sex assault allegations against him.
Rush said he was distraught when he read newspaper articles accusing him of inappropriate conduct.
