But the movie's performance at the box office is reason she and other actress over 55 should be smiling.
It brought in an estimated $77.5 million at the box office, making it the second biggest October opening ever.
According to The Wrap that figure also makes it the largest box office opening for a film with a woman over the age of 55 in the lead role.
The movie set a record for the best opening for any film from the 'Halloween' series and for a film from Blumhouse studios.
