VIDEO : ?Halloween? Breaks Box Office Record

According to SFGate, "Blumhouse?s partnership with Universal has yielded a new studio opening weekend record, as David Gordon Green?s ?Halloween? has posted an opening this weekend of $77.5 million from 3,928 screens." That's right, the 'Halloween' sequel had the second-highest opening for an R-rated horror movie in the US. The only film that surpassed it's numbers is 'Paranormal Activity 3,' which premiered in 2011. Critics expect 'Halloween' to continue triumphing theaters around the US in the weeks leading up to October 31st.
