VIDEO : The Goldbergs Creator Gives Details About Freddy Krueger Episode

According to Comicbook.com, Robert Englund is going to reprise his iconic role of Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street for an upcoming episode of The Goldbergs. Englund's appearance on the show will mark the first time he's played the character since the 2003 film, Freddy vs. Jason. According to the creator of the series, Adam Goldberg, "Convincing Robert Englund to come out of retirement to play Freddy Krueger one last time is a true bucket-list moment." Englund first played Freddy Krueger in the 1984' film A Nightmare on Elm Street, and has reprised his role in eight sequels.
