Banks shares her best negotiation strategy with Business Insider saying, "It's just all about what you're willing to walk away from. You have no leverage if you're not willing to walk away." Some negotiation experts agree with this advice; others don't exactly. However, it has worked well for Banks. Banks also advises, "You don't get what you don't ask for. You can't complain later that you didn't get if if you didn't ask for it. People are not mind-readers."
