According to Comicbook.com, months after losing star Amy Schumer, the Barbie project has been cut at Sony, with the studio officially removing the toy franchise adaptation from its release calendar. There have already been reports that Mattel has brought the property to Warner Brothers and have had their eye on Margot Robbie to star. According to Tim Kilpin, Mattel?s EVP of Global Brands, ?Barbie has entertained children and inspired their imagination and creativity for more than 50 years.
