VIDEO : Judy Blume's 'Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret' To Become A Movie

Legendary children?s author Judy Blume has signed on to have one of her most beloved books turned into a movie.
HuffPost reports that Blume has given film rights for 'Are You There God? It?s Me, Margaret'.
The rights were awarded to Gracie Films, which is led by James L. Brooks, and director/producer Kelly Fremon Craig.
The 80-year-old author has reportedly turned down offers for film rights to her books over the past several decades.
A screenplay is currently in the works for the new project.
