Art is imitating life in Connie Britton's upcoming project, 'Dirty John'.
CNN shares that the trailer has released for the actress' adaptation of the popular podcast based on true events.
In the show, Britton plays Debra Newell, a woman who despite her professional success can't seem to quell her desire for a fulfilling relationship and finds herself swept away by John Meehan played by Eric Bana.
However, Meehan is hiding a dark secret.
The thriller, which Bravo is marketing as an anthology, is based on the Los Angeles Times podcast that to date has been downloaded over 30 million times.
