VIDEO : 'Transparent' Finale Will Be A Musical Episode

According to CNN, "Transparent" will end on a musical note. The show's creator, Jill Soloway, said the two-hour musical movie will be shot later this year and air on Amazon next fall. She told The New York Times, "It will hopefully feel like 'Jesus Christ Superstar' mixed with 'La La Land' mixed with 'Flight of the Conchords' with something more Jewish thrown in." After a five-season run, "Transparent" is ending following the loss of its star, Jeffrey Tambor. Tambor was fired in February after allegations of sexual harassment. He played a retired college professor who comes out to her family as transgender.
