According to The Wrap, a family comedy starring Danny Trejo is in development at ABC.
Peter Murrieta will write the sitcom, which will be inspired by Trejo?s life.
Murrietta's writing credits include ?Cristela,? ?Lopez? and ?One Day at a Time.?
Titled ?Food & Familia,? the multi-camera comedy will be about a father fresh out of prison.
He and his estranged daughter inherit the family restaurant after the mom passes away.
