Ryan Gosling and director Damien Chazelle saw incredible success with "La La Land," and the pair reteamed to make "First Man," which is already receiving Oscar buzz. "First Man" focuses on the life of Neil Armstrong, the first man to ever set foot on the moon. According to Business Insider, "Gosling plays Armstrong as a man deep in his thoughts." The film doesn't depict Armstrong as larger-than-life, instead he's portrayed as a more regular guy. "First Man" is based on the James R. Hansen authorized biography of Armstrong.
