VIDEO : HBO?s ?True Detective? Returns For Season 3 On Jan. 13

According to SF Gate, HBO has announced the premiere date for the third season of ?True Detective". The crime drama will return to the premium cable channel on January 13, 2019. Mahershala Ali will take on the starring role as Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas. The third season will focus on the story of a macabre crime that's been committed in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that plays out in three separate time periods. The series last aired in 2015.
