VIDEO : 50 Cent Signs New Development Deal With Starz That Includes 3-Series Commitment

Rapper Curtis ? 50 Cent? Jackson has signed a new four-year overall deal with Starz. The deal includes a three-series commitment from the pay cable network.

Jackson executive produces and until this past season, starred on the network?s drama ?Power?. SFgate.com reports the deal includes a discretionary fund for use in developing projects under this G-Unit banner. Jackson?s on-camera role in ?Power? recently ended with the death of his character, Kanan, in the fifth season. He plans to direct an episode next season.
