VIDEO : Disney Names Peter Rice Chairman And Dana Walden To Chairman Roles

According to Broadcast and Cable, the Walt Disney Co. has announced that following the acquisition of assets from 21st Century Fox, Fox executive Peter Rice will take the helm of Walt Disney Television as chairman and co-chair of Disney Media Networks. Disney also named Fox executive, Dana Walden, to the new role of chairman of Disney Television Studios and ABC Entertainment. Ben Sherwood, who had been head of the Disney/ABC Television Group is reportedly leaving the company. Disney said he will remain in his current role during the transition period.
