VIDEO : 'Venom' Smashes October Box Office Record

According to Business Insider, 'Venom' now has the best opening weekend ever for a movie released in October after taking in an estimated $80 million domestically. For comic book movie standards that number is not a huge, but it definitely is for October openings. 'Venom' which has taken in $205 million globally, has an 89% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, but only a 32% from critics. It has also earned four out of five stars from audience exit polls, leading to a B+ rating on Cinemascore.
