According to a report by Comicbook.com, actor Vincent D'Onofrio has played Wilson Fisk in the Marvel Netflix universe on multiple shows, and now it sounds like he could be headed to another Marvel Cinematic universe franchise. Despite characters like Tony Stark playing a role in Sony and Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming, it seemed like smaller-scale crossovers with the larger MCU weren't really possible. However, in response to a tweet from a fan lamenting that D'Onofrio's Kingpin probably wouldn't make his way into the Spider-Man Universe, the actor simply tweeted, "Who says?" The comment has raised fans hope that other popular MCU characters might crossover some time in the future.
