WWE is said to be pursuing The Rock for the massive SmackDown 1000 event on October 16th.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that The Rock's schedule may be an issue.
According to ComicBook.com, The Rock will be in London filming Hobbs & Shaw alongside Jason Statham.
In recent months, The Rock has voiced his interest in returning to the WWE ring.
