The SF Gate reports that Alan Alda is set to receive the SAG Life Achievement Award.
The ?M*A*S*H? star is the 55th recipient of SAG-AFTRA?s highest honor.
He?ll get the award in January at the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The SAG Life Achievement Award is to an actor who fosters the ?finest ideals of the acting profession.?
Alda is also known for ?The West Wing?, ?The Blacklist", ?Bridge of Spies?, ?Crimes and Misdemeanors.?
The SAG Awards air live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at 8/7c.
