Classics like The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh and Beauty and the Beast have been remade...

But the next one in store is 2002's 'Lilo & Stitch,' the tale of a Hawaiian girl and her friendship with a bizarre dog-like alien.

The original 'Lilo & Stitch' was a comeback for Disney after 'Treasure Planet.'

Casting has not been confirmed, but rumors are some of the original voice actors will be tapped for the project.
