According to Screen Rant, Joaquin Phoenix and Zazie Beetz have been spotted for the first time together as they film the new Joker movie. The collaborative Warner Bros. and DC Film project takes the audience through a time warp back to the 1980s to offer a glimpse at one of the most popular comic book villains origin story. Fans were slow to get on board with the idea, but when names like Robert De Niro, Marc Maron, and Brett Cullen started popping up as major players in the new film, DC fans came around quickly. No release date has been announced for the project.
