Imagine if Debra Messing was the lead star in "Friends."
Access says that the actress auditioned for the popular 1990's sitcom.
She auditioned for the role of Rachel, which made Jennifer Aniston a household name.
Messing told Access Live, "I auditioned for Rachel right after graduate school."
She admitted that she didn't get too far in the process.
But that didn't matter too much because she went on to snag the role of Grace on "Will & Grace," another iconic show.
