According to Business Insider, the story of Wojtek, a 440-pound bear that fought the Nazis in World War II, is being made into a movie. Wojtek was bought s a cub by Polish soldiers while they were in Iran and he eventually became a part of what would become the Polish II Corps' 22nd artillery supply company in 1942. Wojtek traveled with the soldiers around Egypt and Iraq. Wojciech Narebski, a Polish soldier who spent three years alongside Wojtek during the war said "He was like a child, like a small dog". The movie about Wojtek is going to be an animated feature created by animator Iain Harvey who is known for his work in British children's television.
