According to SF Gate, a biopic highlighting the life and career of the legendary George Carlin is in the works. The Jackal Group announced on Monday that it has acquired the film rights from the stand-up comedian's estate. The film will be produced by The Jackal Group?s Chairman and CEO Gail Berman and President Joe Earley. Oscar-nominated director, Stan Chervin, is on board as writer and producer. Berman and Earley said in a statement; ?We are honored to tell the story of one of the most important and influential comedians of all time". Carlin passed away in 2008, leaving a legacy as one of the most decorated and unrelenting comics of all time.
