The first trailer for Rocketman, the biopic of Sir Elton John's life was released Monday. The film follows the legendary entertainer's meteoric rise to musical superstardom starting with his early days at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Taron Egerton steps into the role as John and is reported to offer up his own voice on a few of the song tracks. According to Uproxx, Dexter Fletcher directed the film and both Elton John and his husband David Furnish served as producers. Rocketman will land in thetares May 31, 2019
