According to Rolling Stone, John Legend spoke out during his performance at New York?s Global Citizen Festival over the weekend. The award-winning singer-songwriter used his performance as an opportunity to denounce senators? mistreatment of sexual assault survivors. The musician sang a new song called ?Preach? and told the crowd; "In the song, we talk about how frustrating it can be to look at your phone, read the news, see what?s happening, ?See how senators treat women who come forward with sexual abuse claims. It?s not enough for us to talk about it or tweet about it, we?ve got to do something.?
