According to SF Gate, ?Sesame Street? The Movie has signed ?Portlandia? co-creator Jonathan Krisel to direct the new live-action musical. Mike Rosolio penned the first draft of the screenplay, with Chris Galletta writing the most recent draft, which is currently undergoing revisions. Created by Jim Henson and launched back in 1969, ?Sesame Street? is considered the most important preschool education program in the history of television.
