Emilia Clarke has said that she always wanted a pixie cut, and she just got closer than ever with a new short hairstyle.
The Game of Thrones star took her post-Daenerys strands even shorter this week, chopping her bob into an ear-grazing style. She was photographed at the Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday showing off the new look, which is a total 180 from the near-waist-length strands fans are used to seeing her character rocking on the HBO show. Clarke also showed off the cut on Instagram right after it happened, writing, "Me: I?m thinking when Gwyneth and Brad had the same hair cut. @jennychohair : I got ?chu."
As it turns out, this chop was something she'd been considering for a while. "I do bloody love long hair, but then I?m always dreaming of cutting it all off and having a pixie cut," she told Harper's Bazaar earlier this month. "But I don?t know that my face could take it." But, based on the latest photos of her newest chop, all signs point to "yes, it absolutely can."
