VIDEO : Halloween Producer Hopes to Develop TV Series

Horror movie fans have been anxiously awaiting the newest installation of the Halloween franchise. According to comicbook.com, Producer of the series Malek Akkad has confirmed that he still has an interest in bringing the franchise to the small screen as a TV series. Akkad said, " It?s [an idea] that we?ve had for a long time and I definitely want to see it done." Other horror movie franchises like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street have previously had TV series, but neither were able to capture fans' attention. The newest installment of Halloween if set to hit theaters on October 19th.
