Domhnall Gleeson has landed his next project!
According to The Wrap the actor has joined the HBO comedy pilot ?Run? from executive producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Here is the logline for the pilot from HBO: Ruby, a woman living a humdrum existence, one day gets a text, inviting her to fulfil a youthful pact promising true love and self-reinvention, by stepping out of her life to take a journey with her oldest flame.
Gleeson will play Billy Johnson, a successful life guru from a wealthy Irish family. Born with the gift of the gab, he deftly combines a boatload of charisma with a boundless need for approval. Waller-Bridge will also have a recurring role in the show, should it get picked up to series, as Flick.
This would be the first major TV role for Gleeson, who previously appeared on an episode of ?Black Mirror.? He is also known for his roles in the current ?Star Wars? trilogy
