VIDEO : Film Sells Out in Nairobi After Court Lifts Ban

According to Reuters, Rafiki, a critically acclaimed film portraying a lesbian romance that was recently banned in Kenya where it was made, was finally released in theaters. After the ban on the movie had been lifted, the movie was screened to cheering, sold-out audiences in Nairobi. Nairobi residents will be able to watch Rafiki during daytime-only screenings at the Prestige Cinema in the capital only for a week.
