According to Comicbook.com, fantasy film 'The House With a Clock in its Walls' will earn $26.8 million in its first three days in theatres. This beats early projections that had the movie pegged for $18-20 million from 3,500 locations across the U.S. 'The House With a Clock in its Walls' is an adaptation of the 1973 novel of the same name by John Bellairs. It follows a 10-year-old boy named Lewis who goes to live with his eccentric uncle Jonathan played by Jack Black. Cate Blanchett also stars in the film as Jonathan?s neighbor Florence Zimmerman, a witch. The movie is director Eli Roth?s first foray into PG-rated filmmaking as he?s best known for R-rated horror flicks.
