VIDEO : Robert Redford Claims He Made A ?Mistake? In Saying He Was Retired

Just over a month ago, Robert Redford announced The Old Man & the Gun, his second film with Pete?s Dragon director David Lowery, would be his last.

Jump a month-and-a-half, and Redford is already walking back those comments.

Redford reportedly saying, ?That was a mistake. I should never have said that."

Uproxx.com says the 82 has been threatening to retire for some time now. Back in 2016 he said he?d do two more films then throw in the towel.
