Uproxx reports that Cary Fukunaga has been named the new director for James Bond 25.
Fukunaga directed the highly acclaimed first season of HBO's "True Detective."
The official James Bond Twitter account and website confirmed Fukunaga's role in the production.
The movie begins shooting on March 4, 2019.
The film will have a worldwide release date of February 14, 2020.
James Bond 25 is Daniel Craig's fifth appearance as James Bond.
