VIDEO : John Carpenter Releases First New Terrifying Track From Halloween

The reboot of the classic horror film 'Halloween' creeps into theaters in a month and, along with it, comes an all-new terrifying score composed by John Carpenter. The filmmaker has released a full track from the upcoming album and fans will recognize some elements from the iconic theme song. According to Sacred Bones' website, "The new soundtrack pays homage to the classic Halloween score that Carpenter composed and recorded in 1978". According to ComicBook.com, Carpenter collaborated with Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies on the new film's soundtrack. Halloween opens in theatres October, 19th.
