Geek.com reports that one of Duane "The Rock" Johnson's earliest forays into the acting world has been rediscovered and remastered. The former WWE superstar first tried out his acting chops in the 2004 film Walking Tall, which followed the true life story of Sheriff Buford Pusser, a larger than life law officer that waged a one-man war on the Dixie Mafia. The original film was a hit with critics and fans alike, spawning sequels, a TV series, and the eventual 2004 remake. Walking Tall has been granted a deluxe re-release on Blu-ray from the folks at MVD Entertainment.
