VIDEO : Stan & Ollie Memoir To Close London Film Festival

Legendary slapstick comedy stars Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are getting their own big screen memoir. The movie stars Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly and is scheduled to make its world premiere as the closing title at the 2018 BFI London Film Festival next month. According to Screen Rant, Nina Arianda and Shirley Henderson costar in the film as Laurel and Hardy's wives Ida Kitaeva and Lucille. Sony Pictures Classics has yet to set a launch day for the film, but there's a reasonable expectation that the film will arrive in time to qualify for next year's Oscars.
