Imperative acquired the 2014 novel ?The Kept,? written by James Scott.
Jolie will produce the movie well.
The film is set during the winter of 1897. It tells the story of midwife Elspeth Howell
Howell returns home to the carnage left after a trio of killers descends upon an isolated farm.
The killers murder her husband and four of her children.
